Audrey is starting to SMILE at me!!! She smiled for the first time on Sunday, and it made me so happy I cried.
Today, she's been alert (sometimes fussy but mostly alert). Early this morning, when she was fussy after about 5 minutes of laying quietly in bed, I asked her if she was having fun giving her mommy little cat naps and she smiled, like it was funny or something. And, then about 2 hours later, we spent a good 30 minutes gazing at each other and I was doing a pretty good job of keeping her happy. She smiled at the weird noises and faces I was making for her. She thinks her momma is hilarious...
Which I am, by the way... H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S.
